Why are Istanbul and Sydney traps?

They are the largest cities in their countries, but not the capitals: Turkey’s capital is Ankara and Australia’s is Canberra. The game tells you after each answer.

The capitals level suits children from about 9; the big cities level is a good challenge for teens and adults.

How to play “World cities”

Choose a continent (or the whole world) and a level. A city appears on a postcard: tap the country it is in among the four choices. After each answer, discover the country’s flag and capital. A game has 10 cities.

Hard: capital cities (Paris, Ottawa, Canberra…).
Expert: big cities that are not capitals (Lille, Istanbul, Sydney…), with countries from the same continent.
